Our Community

The Algonquin Gateway Community is actually several small communities that combine together in business, friendship and special events, etc.  The businesses and people of these small towns and villages make up an area that has become one larger rural  community, yet still having unique qualities in each.  

These small towns are surrounded by beautiful lakes, hills and rock cuts, all leading to the famous Algonquin Park.  Many businesses within these communities cater to the cottagers and tourists that flow to the area during all four seasons of the year.

These communities are also 'home' to many that live their lives in a simpler fashion than what the city has to offer.  Local residents enjoy the benefits of this gorgeous countryside on a day-to-day basis, and are known for their friendly and easy-going personalities.
