Red Cross Outpost Museum

In the heart of Wilberforce you will find this National Historic Site worth a visit. It was Ontario’s first Red Cross Hospital. Artifacts and photos depict the various decades of Red Cross nursing services between 1922 and 1963. Be sure to explore the grounds.

Essonville Church

A beautiful little church built in 1888 and still maintained and used today for two special services a year, Christmas and Memorial Day - to which everyone is welcome! It can also be booked for weddings. Designated “One of the 8 Wonders of Haliburton County”
